Beverly Cleveland Shields, DNP, RN, CCRN, is an accomplished nurse leader, educator, and consultant with more than 30 years of experience across critical care, health system leadership, nursing education, and program development. She holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice and has served in senior leadership roles overseeing critical care, medical-surgical services, wound care, and education at the multi-hospital system level.

Dr. Shields has led large-scale clinical and educational initiatives, including system-wide implementation of resuscitation programs, nurse apprenticeship and fellowship programs, continuing education development, and quality and patient safety initiatives. Her expertise spans critical care operations, workforce development, pressure injury prevention, value analysis, and competency-based education.

Known for her strategic vision, collaborative leadership, and commitment to nursing excellence, Dr. Shields remains deeply dedicated to improving patient outcomes, clinician development, and healthcare systems.
