Christy Greenhalgh, DNP, RN, NP-C

Emergency RN Fellow Program Curator

Christy is a dedicated nursing professional with 13 years of clinical experience in emergency, internal medicine, urgent care, and cardiology. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of South Florida and a Master’s of Science in Nursing from the University of South Alabama. She also obtained a Doctor of Nursing Practice from Samford University’s Moffett and Sanders School of Nursing where she now serves as an Assistant Professor. Additionally, Christy is triple board certified as a nurse practitioner with national certifications in family, acute care, and emergency medicine.

With a diverse academic and practice background, Christy brings a passion for advancing patient care through education to support learners as the Emergency RN Fellow Program Curator at TruMont.

A Florida native, Christy currently resides in Birmingham, AL with her husband and two daughters and enjoys spending her spare time with family, reading, and traveling.
