Kathleen Ladner, Ph.D., RN, FACHE, TruMont Advisory Board Chair

Kathleen Ladner, Ph.D., RN, FACHE is a retired chief nursing officer (CNO) and a Captain in the United States Navy (USN) Nurse Corps. She is a respected and an admired professional with progressive leadership roles in various healthcare organizations, military service, and academia. Dr. Ladner is a Wharton Fellow and a proven executive known for her understanding of the healthcare industry, academic environment, and military medical organization. She has the vision, initiative, energy, and skills to make a decisive impact. Dr. Ladner has received numerous awards and accolades for her caring and tireless work for patients, employees, students, peers, and profession. Although retired, she remains active in nursing, healthcare professional organizations, writing, and research activities. Additionally, she serves on community, professional and university boards, respectively.

She is married to Gordon L. Ladner and resides in Alabama. She has one son who is married and has two granddaughters who reside in Edwardsville, IL.
