I earned my Doctorate of Philosophy in Nursing (PhD), Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from the University of Miami.

I have held various nursing roles including provider, educator, and researcher. Clinically I have worked in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, outpatient clinics, and Dermatology. As an educator, I am passionate about providing resources that foster nurse leadership and engagement. My research interests include violence prevention, substance use in young adults/college students, implementation science and evidence-based practice. Further I am board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), was inducted into Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society, and am a member of the Florida Association of Nurse Practitioners.
